At The Trip Trail, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both our travelers and our operations team, while ensuring smooth logistics and availability for all participants.


1. Cancellation by the Traveler

If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us via email at help@thetriptrail.in as soon as possible. The following refund structure will apply:

For Treks, Trips & Tours (Single-Day & Multi-Day)

Note: Booking amount may include non-refundable advance payments made to vendors (transport, accommodation, permits, etc.).


2. Cancellation by The Trip Trail

We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Minimum group size not met
  • Natural disasters, strikes, or other force majeure events
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

In such cases, you will be given the following options:

  • Full refund, or
  • Credit voucher for future use, or
  • Rescheduling to the next available date

3. Refund Process

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be initiated within 7 working days after confirmation.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by payment gateway or bank processing.

4. Non-Refundable Components

Some charges are non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • Booking convenience fees
  • Permit or entry fees already paid
  • Custom/add-on services pre-arranged at your request

5. Transfer of Booking

  • You may transfer your booking to another person at least 2 days prior to departure, provided they meet the eligibility and health requirements for the trip.
  • Transfers are subject to approval and written confirmation by our team.

6. No Refunds for Early Departures

No refunds will be provided for:

  • Voluntary trip withdrawal after departure
  • Missed activities, meals, or services
  • Early return or departure for personal reasons
